To start off the year 2008, the Visayas' Most Outstanding JCI Chapter for 2007, JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel conducted its 3rd Induction and Turnover Ceremonies last February 16, 2008 at Teatro Casino in Casino Filipino, Waterfront Hotel Cebu City.

Leading the way for the 2008 members of the Board of Directors is Gothong Southern Corporate Services Head, JCI Mem. Jolex Yu Lim, the 2008 President.

After a very successful 2007 term which saw the chapter garner ten (10) Visayas Area Awards including the coveted Most Outstanding Chapter and added three (3) National Awards during the JCI Philippines National Convention, 2007 President JCI Mem. Angelo Daniel Parcon, the 2007 Visayas Most Outstanding President, will finally turn over the reins of leadership to Lim.

Serving as chapter lieutenants to Lim are JCI Mem. Marlon Ariel Polinar, the Most Outstanding JCI Project Chairman in the Visayas for 2007, as Vice President for Programs and JCI Mem. Eric Calamohoy, the chapter's Vice President for Development. JCI Mem. Rosalie Pulido-Alvarado will oversee the two Vice Presidents as Adviser to the VP's. Parcon's wife, JCI Mem. Emi Rose Parcon assumes the Chapter's Secretary General role ably backed by JCI Mem. Iris Vera Petralba, the Assistant Secretary General. Rounding out the members of the Board of Directors are: JCI Mem. Bernadette Loquellano (Auditor), JCI Mem. Sharon Joy Vallar (Treasurer), the 2008 President's wife, JCI Mem. Venus Lim (Public Relations Officer) and JCI Mem. Rio Dela Peña (Community Development Commissioner).

JCI Mem. Mae Elaine Bathan will be serving her third consecutive term as the chapter's General Legal Counsel. Assuming the role as Commissioners are: JCI Mem. Ryan Expeditus Andales (Individual Development), JCI Mem. Irish Arong (Media, Marketing & Membership), JCI Mem. Dennis Cabase (National Projects), JCI Mem. Michael Nicholas Malazarte (International Affairs), JCI Mem. Vic John Potot (Business Development) and JCI Baby Corleone Fontane Montallana (Special Projects).

Heading the team of advisers are Charter President JCI Mem. Cerwin Eviota and JCI Mem. Lorelei Dasmariñas. Both of which are also members of the JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel Training Force.
