Picking up from where we left off

2010 President Marlon Ariel L. Polinar officially takes the reins of the local organization for the new year, presiding over the 1^st General Membership Meeting

Barbecue Joe, Asiatown IT Park, CEBU CITY, Philippines (January 7, 2010) Junior Chamber International Cebu-Mactan Channel started the year with a renewed dedication to fulfilling the JCI Mission and Vision as it conducted its 1^st General Membership meeting with newly-installed 2010 President Marlon Ariel L. Polinar presiding.

JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel who recently reaped a total of three (3) Temiong Awards and two (2) Merit awards during the 61^st JCI Philippines National Convention at Puerto Princesa, Palawan immediately buckled down to work during its first membership meeting for the year 2010 with Polinar leading the way.  With the consensus agreement of matters and projects to be conducted during the first month of 2010, the local organization paved a lineup aimed at membership augmentation and membership development.

Also dedicating their time to the chapter they steered during its early years were Charter President Cerwin Eviota and 2007 President Angelo Daniel Parcon.  They witnessed the ceremonial turnover of the gavel of leadership from 2009 President Emi Rose Parcon to Polinar.  Emi will now be occupying the position as 3M (Media, Marketing and Membership) Director while fulfilling her role as the local organization’s Immediate Past President during the incumbency of President Marlon.
