Junior Chamber International Cebu-Mactan Channel recently completed 'A Jewel of Achievement', a Resourcefulness Seminar designed by Chapter Training Force Member JCI Mem. Ryan Expeditus Andales, PG. Well attended by more than 15 participants composed of aspirant members and new recruits, the seminar focused on several issues pertaining to how one can maximize their potentials by tapping on the most basic aspects that are available to them.
To make something out of nothing. One of the most important lessons an individual can learn by being part of the JCI system. PRIME GRADUATE Ryan also focused on items that are considered valuable resources that are either readily available to an individual or is a rare commodity. The seminar focused on key areas that are considered essential to the art of being resourceful. Ryan, who also serves as the Individual Development Commissioner for JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel, together with the other members of the Chapter Training Force, including 2008 President Jolex Yu Lim, seeks to further raise the status of the chapter as a premier Training facility that is readily available not only to its members but to other JCI chapters as well. It is not a secret that the chapter seeks to maximize the training opportunities of its trainer-members in an effort that would give them the chance to pay forward their respective knowledge and skills to other trainers in the near future. The chapter was awarded with the Best Individual Development Program by JCI Philippines in the Visayas in the year 2007 for its program: THE NEXT STEP: Furthering ourselves to BE BETTER and is seeking to duplicate the feat in 2008.
