JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel visits Brgy. Busay

New Members' leads the way for Local Organization

BRGY. BUSAY, Cebu City Philippines - In a concerted effort to promote health and wellness not only within the City proper of Cebu, JCI Cebu-Mactan Channel, through the capabilities of its New Members launched a Medical and Dental Mission aimed to benefit the residents of Brgy. Busay, Cebu City on August 2, 2009.

Led by the project chairperson JCI Mem. Liezl Palicte and her team of new members, the local organization brought in the assistance of the Armed Forces of the Philippines, the USJ-R Jaguar Junior Jaycees and a team of Cebu Doctors' University Pharmacy Students.  Community Development Commissioner JCI Mem. / Dr. Rio Dela Peña was also able to bring in a few of his colleagues to lend their skills to the less privileged in this far-flung barangay of Cebu.

Lending their assistance to this noble project were Nature's Spring Water, RJS Creative Solutions, Sonshine Radio, PAGCOR, Cebu Daily News, McDonald's , M. Lhuillier, Jollibee, Julie's Bakeshop and Hot FM with a special contribution from Hon. Raul Del Mar, North District Congressman of Cebu and JCI Cebu, Inc.
